I haven't got my hands on a SB3 yet, but I'm plotting how I could use one. Since I have various currently unused bits of hifi kit stored away, I was considering plugging the SB directly into a power amp and using the volume control on the SB. I previously used this amp connected directly to a tape deck with a variable output control and that worked fine. Has anyone experimented with plugging the SB directly into a power amp? If so were there any problems/issues. Does the SB remember the last volume setting when you switch it off? I don't want to blow my speakers to heaven by mistake!
