I thought we went over that before.  A 180 degree phase shift across
all frequencies IS a phase reveral, or polarity inversion, or whatever
you want to call it.

As we've seen here, the fact that many people claim something means
essentially nothing.  Many people believe in astrology.  That link
reports on blind test results, as did the other one I posted earlier. 
These are experiments conducted by scientists who do this research for
a living.  The results are that music treated with a filter that
totally destroys the RELATIVE phases is indistinguishable from music
not treated that way, and only one of several test tones tried could be
distinguished, and that only through headphones.  Same for the other
study.

Now, this is not the same as a polarity inversion, because the filters
they use induce a (large) phase shift which depends on frequency. 
Instead, it should be much MORE audible.
