I agree, the Sennheiser HD650 are very good headphones – especially
when used with a dedicated headphone amp such as Ray Samuels’
SR-71/HR-2 or Meier Audio’s Corda series. IMHO the Sennheiser
headphones are not only more comfortable to wear over a long period of
time than the Grado ones but they are also sonically superior. 

You should eventually consider a dedicated headphone amp since some of
the standard headphone outputs on the audio equipment do not get too
much attention in the overall equipment design.
