I've ripped many hundreds of CDs and have never had to fix a single
glitch.  Something's wrong with either your CD player or your CDs if
you have a need to do this.

But I take it that you're playing back the same files on both the PC
and the Squezebox, correct?

foobar is just a playback program... it doesn't have a "sound" unless
you've configured it to use some mechanism to alter the signal.

What audio card are you using in the PC?

And which were you comparing to the Squeezebox in the previous post -
the analog outs of your audio card or the card feeding the Bel Canto
DAC?
