Sadly, most people who own decent HiFi tend to be not youngsters - me included, and I've always found this a shame as your hearing tails off as you get older, so you can't appreciate the extended linarity of good gear.
I came across this site today that discusses high frequencies as a way to annoy young people - us oldies can't hear them! http://www.ochenk.com/entry.php?id=63 I could hear the 15KHz sample, but no higher, so I wonder what the response of the SB and the rest of the system has to be before it doesn't matter any more?
