That's very true - I still like having something physical when I buy
music and I still hanker after the old gatefold album sleeves -  my
mint copy of Roxy Music's first Album still makes e feel all warm and
fuzzy. 

I think the wireless aspect makes audiophiles worry because of the lack
of a physical transport medium, after all they spend a small fortune on
cables, but this is digital and bit perfect is what is being strived
for. The other aspect of course is that digital music has a bad
reputation from poor quality downloads from iTunes and the like. 

Let's also not forget that the pinnacle of HiFi reproduction is often
valve-based, so looking backwards over your shoulder to the past is
common and accepted, whilst new technologies claiming "perfect" sound
are to be mistrusted - CD fell into this trap at the beginning. Also
any form of sound filtering or correction is a big no-no.

Is now the time for Slim to do HiFi demos at shows? Perhaps they
should...
