Sorry if a bit off course, but I was under the impression that Lacie used Maxtor hdd's, maybe mine's an older one. Still, once it comes back from Lacie for the 4th time in 2 years!!!, if thay still have not fixed it (which I have grown to accept) I will be taking it apart myself as I'm sure being a plumber I stand a better chance of fixing the thing :). Hdd's can not fail that often - can they?, it must be the other bits Lacie have put in the casing to talk to my pc's thats at fault.... Anyway, when I see or hear the L word I flip, sorry back to topic. SB2 :D SB2+ or SB2&DAC yet to find out and looking forward to it. As you say all down to personal preference.
