If using your solar panels will really provide "psychological benefits"
leading to better sounding music to your ears, then I suggest you're
readily influenced by extraneous factors.  Maybe you were kidding, but
I doubt it.

Jack, let me guess.  You read a lot of literature before shopping for
and listening to components (do you even listen before buying, or
simply buy based on the marketing hype?).  SB doesn't use car
batteries, it isn't a highly (self) touted USB to SPDIF converter, it
doesn't use quadra-linear, undersampling, push-me-pull-you converters,
so I suspect you didn't like the sound before you ever plugged it in.

BTW, what hard drive do you use to store your music?  If you Google,
you'll find that WD's sound markedly better than Seagates.  Something
to do with linear bit density technology or something . . .
