Well, Moore's "law" isn't a law as such. It only applies roughly, for
the moment, in certain fields with explosive development. I don't know
if digital audio is really such a field?

But I agree that it would be more useful to look at today's stuff. The
links opaqueice gave certainly point to things having moved on a lot.
