I didn't mean to suggest that the TacT unit wouldn't work if the
speakers weren't efficient but it would be nice if you have some
headroom for the correction especially if you want to play loud. So
just keep in mind about the efficiency when you choose your
speakers. As jfo said, the TacT unit can work with various types of
speakers.
Both TacT and Lyndorf have come up with their new lines of RC units
but they are still relatively new and the Lyndorf TDA2200 still
hasn't come up with their full featured version yet (user
manipulation of full features through a separate computer can't be
done yet). I think it will be a while to see some direct comparisons
and reviews on them.
The interesting development lately is that there are quite a few TacT
users turning to computer based correction systems and achieving very
good results, so good that some of them are getting rid of their TacT

guidlines on the specs, e.g. sensitivity etc., and /or could you
point
me to some examples that would work well (other than the TacT speakers
which are rather expensive)?
Since we are on the subject of room correction, does anyone have
thoughts on the TacT M/S 2150 XDM as compared with Lyngdorf Audio's
TDA
2200 with Room Perfect?

P.S... In a stub I saw about the Lyngdorf TDA 2200 (can't remember
where) I saw a mention of the SlimDevices SqueezeBox as a great
partner
for this digital amp. Pretty cool :)
