Ahh, well, I've tried everything when it comes to speaker wire and have found that no matter how much i've spent it makes no difference. Those are Audioquest type 4's factory soldered. I picked those up because they were on clearance, look nice, and have really nice banana connectors. Love those bananas. And yeah, simplicity is the idea there.
