Don't get me wrong -- TacT is great stuff and it works. Personally, I think DEQX works better. It sounds cleaner. And, yes, I've heard them compared.
Again, like I said, YMMV and a lot of this is subjective. Speakers that work for me won't work for others -- doesn't make one objectively better or worse (some of the time, at least). I think we agree on the fundamentals, though: getting your speaker and then speaker/room interaction nailed down is paramount.
