There are volume dependent corrections that need to be made to
compensate for the fact that sound perception is level depenedent. 
Generally, at lower volumes, upper and lower frequencies need to be
boosted and at louder volumes, slightly atenuated relative to mid
frequencies, in order to maintain the proper tonal balance.

TACT's newer "dynamic" room correction uses Fletcher-Munson based
curves to make on-the-fly adjustments for every .1db level change.  It
has made a significant difference in my systems and can be easily
compared to their standard room correction with the push of a button.
