I have the same problem with the FLAC files converted by Media Monkey from WAV files. If I use the EAC/FLAC integration it works fine. I thought the Media Monkey would give me a nice UI to manage/edit tags/metadata of the FLACs but I cannot seem to rely on it. Moreover I may have to re-rip the CDs again. I think there is an inconsistency in the SB3 firmware and the format of FLAC created by Media Monkey. Softsqueeze seems to play these FLACs fine.
