Hi, I'm a relatively new owner of an SB3 and am extremely pleased with it.
I also have an EMU 1616M external audio interface which has a CS4398 Cirrus Logic DAC (apparently a higher-quality 'mastering' converter). I'm wondering if feeding the digital out of the SB3 to the 1616M would be a viable 'audiophile' set up? Does anybody have any thoughts/experience of the Cirrus Logic DAC? I'd forsee feeding the output from the 1616M to high-quality active studio monitors. Any thoughts/comments on the above would be welcome.
