It's probably better to buy a dedicated DAC (Or a transporter; use the SB3 in the bedroom/kitchen/bathroom/whatever). If you're not happy with the sound and are using FLAC/ALAC files, you should look at the rest of yuor equipment. I wasn't really happy with my SB3 before I upgraded the SB3 power supply...
