I would suggest the PS 1st. There are still a few elpacs left. Have
them ship directly to Bolder (Wayne). Your total would be only 125.00
plus shipping.
I noticed a BIG difference runing digital out to my hi-end DAC.

There was even a bigger difference in the analog out.
Pre-PS the SB analog out was far inferior to to the digital out. After
the PS the analog was significantly closer.
The modded elpac is the biggest bang for buck I have heard.

There is a fast turnaround and you don't have to be without your SB.
You can always do the analog mod later...................That may be
what I do, but right now it sounds good enough that I don't want to be
without the SB..........If I get a transporter I"ll mod the SB for my
kid.
