there are 2 mods that I am currently considering for the SB3 a) Boulder mod b) linear power supply
the Boulder mod is about $300, the linear power supply (well, still need some researching, but I'm sure I can get it for a lot less than $300). I will be using the SB3 analogue out exclusively, no digital out. In this situation, which would give the most value for money mod,taking into account cost and the perceived improved sonic quality? anyone tried any of the 2 options above ? my system is the naim 112/150 and Energy Veritas 2.2 speaker. I see that some sonic difference can only discerned with very high end systems.
