Yes, they Dyns like a lot of power. I've heard the Countour 1.4's with a grunty valve amp before and although the mids and highs were fantastic, the bottom is a little slow and not nearly as defined as with my Lux. I find the Dyns to tend to the technical, and that's why I was thinking tubes might "warm up" the sound a tad. But not at the cost of losing seperation.
