Mine arrived today! I'm really impressed so far. The sound doesn't jump out and grab you by the balls until you sit down and really listen (i.e. move away from the knob, where you're getting too distracted). Once you do that, you suddenly notice a vastly improved soundstage, much more detail, and all sorts of bits you've never heard before. It's a really nice, controlled sound with loads of range. And the knob is cool!
I'm running with Mordaunt Short 906Is (£350), a Cambridge Audio Azur 640A V2 (£300), a £30 interconnect and £5/m speaker cable. This is budget gear, but the Transporter still sounds great! UPS charged duty as expected. The courier would have charged on delivery, but I rang up and paid over the phone in advance as I was a bit worried about whether I'd be available when it arrived and had already heard Robin's horror story!
