To be honest I was naively hoping that internet radio might be better than my FM4 (as I had hoped with DAB). Radio 3 is about the only decent quality broadcast on UK FM radio that I know of. Most FM stations are appalling. And even BBC3 lacks the high frequencies (due to the FM specification) that are so audible on CD - it just so happens that they aren't very prevalent on classical music so it doesn't matter. I guess DAB in theory could be quite good sound quality but in practice is pretty rubbish, at least in the UK. There must be some decent quality internet stations - just have to find them - and then hope they are good music too! -- rbl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rbl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4517 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28626 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
