It's true that the T-Amp requires 8 ohm, efficient speakers, but I say: don't limit yourself to tiny speakers. I have an old pair of B&W 802 80 series speakers (large floorstanding models), that supposedly require a minimum 25 watts per channel at 8 ohm. My Super T-Amp officially puts out just 15 watts per channel, but when I hooked up the speakers today, the T-Amp drove them flawlessly, with volume to spare. There are plenty of good full-range, efficient floor-standing speakers out there.. do some research, and you can get excellent sound out of the T-Amp.
