I think the Mapleshade Silclear and Walker SST are similar. In a silver paste, silver particles are suspended in a medium. Quality of the paste varies based on 1) purity of silver 2) concentration of silver 3) the quality of the medium used for suspension. When the Extreme cable guys introduced their paste, I think they tried to address the paste getting darker/getting gummed up, basically, they have come up with a better medium to suspend the silver in. That is why they show the comparison picture of SST and their paste. -- SoftwireEngineer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SoftwireEngineer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7000 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29353 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
