I can't follow the thought of D-A-D-A going from any Slim unit to a G68 either. Use the digital out to an input on the G68...job done.
I too use a G68 and digital speakers so would look to see a digital only Transporter unit, even if just to remove any effect of redundant circuitry and perhaps cost. Much along the same lines as why Meridian make G68's in both analogue and digital formats. Whether the T is better than SB3 as a digital transport is a question I'd like to see tested and reviewed.
