I did some research and I found the problem.  The AudioSource Amp has
two inputs - Line 1 and Line 2.  It is set up so that Line 1 cuts over
Line 2 when there is a source on it.  When I connected the Squeezebox
to Line 2, it works fine.  I can even connect my laptop to Line 1, so
that if there is an alert or I want to listen to something on my
laptop, that will take precedence over the Squeezebox on Line 2.  When
the Line 1 source is  absent, then the Squeezebox feed kicks back in.
