If you turn the question around and ask if there are any advantages of
WMA Lossless over FLAC I would have to say yes.

I started off ripping my CDs with Windows Media Player. I liked the
fact that I could move between WMA Lossless on the PC and automatically
transcode the music to a somewhat reduced bitrate (but still good) to
bring it with me on my phone, rate it there and then synchronise the
rating back to my main library. I also liked the fact that the ripping
and tagging process was so much easier on Windows Media Player.

Even so, I made the decision to ditch my WMA Lossless music and re-rip
everything with EAC into FLAC. The deciding factors for me were the
open format and the fact that, at least I thought, I could trust EAC to
do a better job at ripping the CDs than WMP (don't know if this is
actually true nowadays).
