DBX is useful for helping to interpret a positive result.  Nothing more.
*The absence of a positive result does not imply a negative result.*
This cannot be overemphasized. The problem with DBX in audio is that
people don't know how to interpret the results.

It seems this could provide common ground for objectivists and
subjectivists alike.

If there are positive results the Obs. agree anyway. With negative
results the Obs should no longer say the differences unequivocally don't
exist (which P O's the subs)
However it would be perfectly reasonable for the obs to say negative
results lead me to the opinion that the differences likely don't exist.

Conversly the subs subjective hearing reality can no longer be
"absolutely" negated by the test.

Oh joy, oh bliss, we can all live in harmony, and just in time for the
holidays :-)
