You can biwire a power socket?! Amazing! That must provide a huge
improvement in the sound of the system plugged into it! It was so
obvious. Why didn't I think of that?

My advice on dedicated power lines is that unless you get one that runs
from the generator directly to your stereo without connecting to
anything alse along the way, don't bother. Oh yeah, and they better
use 6 nines pure, single crystal, OFC, including the generator
windings.

I have heard that it is much better to use use DC power- something
about the electrons sloshing back and forth in an AC system that makes
them less likely to perform well in audio gear. I think they acquire
some 60 Hz momentum and it is hard to get them to move at other
frequencies.

Power companies use AC generators (alternators?), and transformers all
over the place. You don't want THOSE electrons to be swimming around
in your stereo do you (unless you want it to hum)? You need solar
panels and batteries to power the system. The electrons travel in only
one direction giving them a synergy that has to be heard to be
believed.

One final bit of advice: don't believe everything you read on the
internet (or in audio magazine ads).
