Interesting that you noticed a difference between the SB3 & the TP using the digital outs into the Linn's DACs.
I use a Meridian 568 with balanced analog outs to Meridian M33 speakers, and have been torn as to whether to upgrade the SB3 to a TP. My reasoning for staying with the SB3 has been that the TP DAC would remain unused since the 568 converts all analog inputs to digital anyway.
