The old Snells are the inspiration for the current Audio Note line - they use the same letter system, and AN are open about this; the ANs are just updates of the Snell designs. Check out the AN website http://www.audionote.co.uk/products/speakers/an-k_01.shtml and realise that you can get 90% the performance of the ANs for 10% of the price by buying the Snells.
