Yup most of the subs I have been looking at accept High level inputs, however the new JL Audio F113 is sensational but doesn't have them. This sub is really something, so much so that I am inclined to buy despite the lack of connectivity! By the way, Mark you are exactly right the LFE is not used in Direct Mode for exactly the reason you stated. Cheers
