It would be nice to take some kind of basic electronics course. Maybe community colleges have quick courses for adults? I'm pushing fifty and haven't handled a soldering iron since my Boy Scout days. I've read about many interesting and affordable DIY projects here and elswhere. It would be nice to cultivate some ability in the area.
