Using those tools I got the 2-channel 24/96 feed off my one and only DVD-A. You can rip CPPM and PPCM; I'm not familiar enough with the way DVD-As work to suss out all the different varieties.
Unfortunately support from the labels has been poor, so I'm still buying CDs. I'm not convinced the sound is sufficiently better (or indeed, at all) to justify replacing them with DVD-As - maybe the mastering isn't careful enough? I do find it ironic though - loads of us would be buying DVD-As if we could rip them; instead the format is dying!
