Hi, I use a DACX with the SB3 with no problems at all and the combination sounds great. My system includes the DACX, A Cyrus PreX Vs and Cyrus MonoXs and sounds great. I also have a Cyrus CDXT transport that I hardly ever use anymore - using FLAC I can bearly differntiate between the CDXT and the SB3.
