FLAC works on all major and most minor platforms. It is Free and Open. Apple Lossless is not. (I say "most" because there isn't a CP/M 2.2 port of FLAC. Modern systems should have no problem with it, though.) > > One point people seem to be missing is this: Apple has moved forward > with 802.11n. History. 802.11n is a) just a draft and subject to change, and b) does not make wireless networking perfect. > > Actually, it is quite a robust system. How do you know it is a robust system when you haven't used it? Just because Bill Gates or Steve Jobs says something is good doesn't make it so. Trust no-one: use FLAC. -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31480 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
