Hi! I use an SB3 feeding digital into a TacT 2.2x, which means I don't listen to the SB3's DACs. However, some of the potential problems are almost universal to all setups. Have you cleaned the SB3s phono contacs as well as the interconnects' contacts? Made sure the interconnect is a thight fit? Simple things like that can sometimes totally transform a system.
Also, note that the standard power supply seem to adversely affect some systems (most likely via mains transmitted noise). Check LP playback with and without the powersupply hooked up.
