Seems like I read something about the tolerance of wire twist being a
good indicator of quality, but I can't recall if the difference was
between category or manufacturers. Anyway, if the cable is carrying
audio signals I would think quality matters as opposed to tcp/ip, not
that I know whether a set of balanced cables having one 6" longer would
sound/measure differently...

Another interesting tidbit I read was the idea of using rj45 and cat5
as an external i2s interface, perhaps one application where I might
order Belkin etc (if it would even work and i didn't read
incorrectly!).
