In my living room, I have a Bang & Olufsen Beosound 9000 and a Beovision 5 connected to a pair of Beolab 8000 and another two Beolab 6000 plus a Beolab 2. There is also a DVD 1 and a XBOX 360 connected to the Beovision 5. I also have 3 more pairs of Beolab 4000 thru the house.
Now all my music is mostly situated in a dedicated server with more than 250 Gb of windows media lossless files. The Music server is connected to the Beosound 9000 by the Roku Soundbridge M1001 media streamer. The BS9000 "ATape" input is connected to the Soundbridge "minijack" output. I do not feel very happy with the instalation that my local B&O dealer did 2 years ago, but it was the beguinning of all this. The quality isn´t very good. Actually, the Xbox 360 media extender digital output gives much better sound quality from the same music server, but the console is too noisy. I want to buy the new Slimdevices Transporter to get the maximum audition quality, not only in my living room but in the other rooms where I have some Beolab 4000. Can anyone recomend me the best way to connect the Transporter to the Beosound 9000?
