sean, thanks for the quick response. well let me explain: I played optical digital content. switch of TP. leave it like that the night. on the next day, I switch on my amp and the TP and then there is sometimes strange stuff playing from transporter, but the digital input is off (my PC is off). there are sounds coming out of my speakers like "alien sounds". really they sound just like digital burb sounds or something like that.
then I start playing WAV-files and from this moment, those sounds are gone but still a little "fuzzyness" is there in the heights... when I reset (removing mains cable) the TP, all is fine again. also the other thing I wrote is a problem for me. after days or hours of playing server content, the sound changes in terms of getting harsh, the stereo stage is narrower and so on. the only solution is removing mains for a couple of seconds. this was also happening to my SB3 which was in the same place before. I have only connected one amp and one SD device. plus I have a noise filter before they connect (tried without also, same prob). any ideas? -- truckfighters Transporter -> REDGUM RGASIL -> REDGUM RGi120ENR AMP -> REDGUM LS Cable -> Infinity Kappa 8.1i -> Live! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ truckfighters's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7852 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32066 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
