I'm sure a PM to Patrick Dixon will get you an answer. However, I'm not too sure anyone but him will have had an SB+ and a Transporter together at the same time. I'm more than happy with the sound of the Transporter though, but prefer the fact that the SB+ has no knob and buttons and is half the size, although I do find the dual display of the Transporter useful for placing the track on one display and the artist in the other. Which means, using full size text, I can actually read it across the room. There is also the longevity of the support for the two players to consider..... MC
