I think both sides of the issue are good to hear, just to broaden my horizon. In the end, obviously I do whatever I want, whether or not anybody else likes it. If I want to put expensive ebony feet under my SB2, do you think I won't because opaqueice says it's stupid? No way. Neither would I buy them because GaryG says they're the bee's knees. I'd buy them because I get a kick out of it!
So I'll probably buy that Furutech fp15 recepticle. It's $40, so I can handle that. But I think opaqueice will probably call me silly. (Or should I get the Shunyata, hmmm.) Also, I'm looking into getting either a DAC or a Transporter. So I might order a TP and a PS Audio dac, hook both of them up, and try to do a DBT. If I can't tell them apart, I saved myself $1000. Or maybe I'll still get the TP for the cool factor. And maybe a bunch of people will tell me I'm a fool to DBT them. So what?
