IMO, the thread in question was fairly civil on both sides, and I am vehemently opposed to censorship.
Perhaps we ought to bear in mind that: 1) A tweak can make a real difference whether or not it has been subjected to blind testing, and whether or not we can explain causation. 2) A tweak that can be differentiated in blind testing is making a real difference, whether or not we can explain causation. 3) A tweak that cannot be differentiated in blind testing is not making a real difference. I wish to continue to hear about improvements folks perceive and how they achieved them.
