My cousin has the 703's, or 704's (floorstanding model), and their sound is extraordinary. I highly recommend the 700 series for a wide variety of musical tastes. I haven't heard the 600 series in a few years but I remember liking them as well. If you can afford a floorstander in either the 600 or 700 series, I would opt for that, since with B& W (or any) bookshelf/monitor speakers you really need good, solid stands to get the speakers to sound their best. The floorstanding models of either series are narrow and take up no more room than monitors on stands and you save the cost of good stands. The wood finish on the 700 series is gorgeous, too. High WAF, esp with the gold Kevlar cones.
