A little - once I tried comparing three different transports into one DAC (which was an NOS DAC without any special jitter rejection), and heard no differences. I'm not claiming these differences can never be audible - that would be a blanket statement and certainly false. As I said earlier, I've heard differences, but only when the DAC was distorting due to an impedance mismatch. So my feeling is - and it's just a feeling, it may be wrong, but it's firmly based on both personal experience and public research - that the technology has matured to the point that it can largely be ignored, in contrast to speakers for example.
