No problem either. The XLR will have one signal pin connected to earth, and the other connected to the sigle ended signal coming in from the 1/4". Since balanced inputs compare both incoming signals it doesn't matter if it compares a single signal to earth, or two mirror image signals. The only difference is that the signal will be half the voltage (volume), a.k.a 6dB lower. Please don't make your own converters now, as you need to know what you are doing with regards to output, input and also if transformers are being used or not. -- P Floding No, I didn't ABX it.
