I'm quite sure when writing Foobar etc, they never assumed WMA lossless
to be higher quality than 44.1kHz/16 bit.

There are a few other programs that recognises the Linn files as
88.2kHz/24 bit when applicable, such as Creative MediaSource and Ease
Audio Converter for example.
