You don't expect an audiophile to be able to read a data sheet do you? How would one sell wooden blocks to hold your cables if you believed in Engineering? Analog's data sheet for the AD1896 actually talks about zero stuffing, then convolution, which is always easier in the frequency domain rather than in the time domain, but that takes FFTs and other mathematics.
