OK - I think from the HDCD thread we established that the SB can't handle the WAVEX format at all. That's what the 24-bit 44.1(or 88.2 or 96) is, coming out of WMA2LPCM. However, once you convert the WAVEX to 24-bit FLAC it should play fine. I can't comment on rates higher than 44.1 though.
