It was constructed in '67. My Yamaha cd player and receiver along with a pair of Energy C6's served as my primative upstairs system. One day I noticed that the lights dimmed when a bass note hit if the volume was up. I traced the wire and found the entire living room was served by one little, old wire. I decided to run two wires since I was going to the bother of pulling cable. One for 20A load and another for a 30A load. For only a few dollars more I could afford a little overkill. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: IMG_0342.JPG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2466| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Ben Diss 'SB3' (http://www.slimdevices.com/pi_squeezebox.html) -> 'Lavry DA10' (http://www.lavryengineering.com/productspage_da_10.html) -> 'BAT VK-31SE' (http://www.balanced.com/products/line/Vk-31SE/index.html) -> 'Halo A21' (http://www.parasound.com/halo/a21.php) -> 'B&W 803D' (http://www.bwspeakers.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.models/label/Model%20803D) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ben Diss's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4289 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32740 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
