Hi Eric!

Yup...it would be kinda hard for you to drive to "the original" London
and even if you could, you couldn't do it in 2 hours.  :-)

Yes.  I have the SR8400.  The later 8500 and the new 8001 have HDCD
decoding too, as does the flagship 9000-series.

It does work but I suspect it's not done with an HDCD decoding chip but
rather with the DSP, and it must be some heavy code as you cannot use
any DSP mode with it aside from Stereo or Direct.  Took me a while to
figure that out.  But once it's in those modes, a FLAC of an HDCD from
the SB3 or Transporter through a digital connection will light the red
HDCD logo in the receiver's display.
